Step back into the shadows and celebrate the origins of horror cinema at Silent Screams, a full day dedicated to the films that helped create the genre we know and love today. Experience a collection of classic silent-era masterpieces and early horror landmarks on the big screen, including:

• Phantom of the Opera (1925)
• Häxan
• Metropolis
• Frankenstein (1910)

•Nosferatu

 And more classic silent and early genre films

PLUS a special encore presentation of the not-so-silent classic:

• Poltergeist II

Think you have what it takes to become a silent filmmaker?

As part of Silent Screams, we are accepting original silent horror short films up to 10 minutes in length for exhibition during the event. Submission is completely free.

One selected filmmaker will receive the inaugural Silent Screams Audience Choice Award, voted on by attendees during the event.
